Nicole Ashley Carter, known affectionately as Nicole to her loved ones, graced this world with her presence on September 3, 1994, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her journey on earth came full circle as she passed over on September 18, 2024. Nicole's life was a testament to the power of love, positivity, and the unshakable inherent goodness within us all.

Born to Vicki (Allen) Bailey and Mark Edward Carter, Nicole was the radiant centerpiece in a family that included her two brothers, Daniel Lee Childers and Gregory Valton Childers, and her sister, Lauren Leann Carter. Her family tree extended to loving uncles and aunts, including Randy and Carol Carter, Kendra and Dewey Evans, Sandi Carter, Gary and Margie Littledeer, Doc and Lela Goodwin, and Chuck Allen. Nicole's heart held a special place for her cherished niece, Camille Tatum Childers, she adored her Pops and Granny, her grandma Mona and a constellation of other relatives and friends who were illuminated by her vibrant spirit.

Nicole's formative years were spent in Stillwell, where she blossomed on her graduation from Stillwell High School in 2013. Her educational journey was not merely about acquiring knowledge but also about nurturing a compassionate heart, a trait that became the hallmark of her existence.

Professionally, Nicole dedicated her life to caring for others, a natural caretaker whose empathy knew no bounds. At Unity Center of Tulsa in Downtown, she served as a youth teacher instilled with Unity principles. Nicole was a beacon of Christ's love, extending her warmth and kindness to her family, including her siblings Greg, Danny, and Lauren, and her beloved niece, Camille. Her life was a living embodiment of the Unity Center's Children's Blessing, which she recited with conviction: "You are a perfect child of God, and God and I love you just the way you are."

Nicole's approach to life was one of profound understanding and non-judgment. She was a friend to many, a guide to those in need, and a shoulder to lean on during life's storms. Her infectious smile could brighten the darkest of days, and her laughter was a melody that resonated with joy. She was the embodiment of true beauty love and light, a true reflection of the Divine love that we all share.

Through her words and actions, Nicole taught us that our worth is not determined by our circumstances but by the depth of our love and the positive strength of our spirit. She was a testament that being present for others is the most precious gift we can offer. Her legacy is a reminder that every individual is a masterpiece of the creation of love, peace, growth and compassion.

Nicole's departure from this world leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, faith, and the power of a smile that could move mountains. Her life was lived knowing each of us have the capacity to be the light unto others who brace our fellow being’s compassion, and to live a life that echoes with the laughter the soul and its purpose.

As we reflect on Nicole's journey, we are reminded of the impact a life can have on so many, in one good purpose of a everlasting spirit. Nicole Ashley Carter, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, will forever live to remind us of her extraordinary spirit. Her memory will continue to inspire us to live with purpose, to love without limits, and to be the change we wish to see in the world.
