Funeral services for Nathalia Waneeka Stout will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Crain, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Waneeka Stout, age 93, of Skiatook, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at her Skiatook residence.

Waneeka was born October 7, 1923 in Sperry, Oklahoma to Arthur and Myrtle (Palmer) Burdette. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated in 1942. Waneeka married Melvin Elwood Stout on April 8, 1944 in Skiatook where they made their home. Waneeka was a homemaker, liked taking care of kids and reading Western Books.

Waneeka was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Melvin, stepfather: Blan Bernard, brother Art Burdette and by two great grandchildren: Huck Bahling and Case Behling.

Waneeka is survived by her three children: Gary Stout and wife Fern, Pattie Park and husband Ben and Shirley Bahling and husband Jim, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Since Mothers Gone”, “Amazing Grace” and “The Old Rugged Cross”.
Casket escorts will be: Hadley Bahling, Sean Quinton, Isaac Bodley, Jennifer Perkins, Jesse Bahling and Teri Bodley.

The family of Nathalia Waneeka Stout entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
