Nadine Moyer
Services for Nadine Moyer will be as follows. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken presiding. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken presiding. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Nadine Moyer, age 85, of Skiatook passed away Thursday morning in Skiatook.
Nadine was born August 22, 1933 in Wildhorse, Oklahoma to Earl and Opal (Harkness) Hurd. Nadine grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated with the Class of 1951. Nadine also attended Tulsa University where she completed her education and graduated with a Master’s Degree. Nadine married Rolland Moyer on August 20, 1955 in Pawhuska making their home in Skiatook. Nadine was employed with The University of Tulsa where she was the Director of Computer Services for over 30 years. In 2008 Nadine married Charles Rader making her home in Skiatook. Nadine liked golfing, Bunco, reading, was very active in E.S.A. where she worked with the Miss Skiatook Pageant and the Golf Tournaments that they put on. Nadine was also very active in her church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was treasurer for many years. Nadine also volunteered at the Skiatook Nursing Home and Oklahoma School For The Blind. Nadine loved Skiatook being active with various different projects throughout the City and was a member of the Osage Gardens Cemetery Advisory Board. Nadine enjoyed life spending time with her family and just having fun.
Nadine was preceded in death by her mother and father; Earl and Opal Hurd, four brothers, one sister and one great grandson; Jackson Smith.
Nadine is survived by her husband; Charles Rader, three children; Jackie Hull, Steve Moyer and wife Teresa and Mike Moyer and wife Amy, one sister; Sharon Raines, grandchildren; Ashley, Christopher, Jordan, Alex, Correy and Trevor, great grandchildren; Cooper, Conley, Ellis Day, Kessler, Jackson, Haven, Charlie and Norah, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Nadine Moyer entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
