Monte Ray Robedeaux III, born on November 12, 1988, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, passed away on February 6, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the beloved son of Sherrill Leslie (Caler) and Monte Ray Robedeaux Jr.
Monte grew up in Skiatook, where he received his education and proudly graduated with the class of 2006. Throughout his life, Monte devoted himself to his career as a security guard for the Hardrock Casino in Tulsa. His steadfast commitment to his work reflected his dedication and sense of responsibility to the community around him. Beyond his professional life, Monte was passionate about the outdoors. He found joy in cutting wood and embraced the thrill of playing golf frisbee. Additionally, music held a special place in his heart; he delighted in making and playing music on his guitar, sharing his love for melodies with those around him. Monte liked to larp and was a member of the Osage Nation. Monte grew up in the Osage Native American Church and also danced with the Osage Nation dances.
Monte was a cherished father to his three children, Syah, Ian, and Monte IV. He is survived by his parents, Sherrill and Monte Robedeaux Jr., and his two sisters, Sunny Nichols and Leslie Robedeaux. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Gary and Nicky Caler, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will remember him fondly.
Monte’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his spirit will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
