Mary Marceil Harper
Mary Marceil Harper, age 97, of Collinsville, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Bailey Medical Center in Owasso.
Marceil was born January 20, 1920 in Denver, Colorado to Harry and Vera Rose (White) Lemcke. She grew up and received her education in Wichita, Kansas where she graduated in 1938. Marceil married Clarence Harper in 1951 in Claremore, Oklahoma making their home in Skiatook and moved in Collinsville in 1998. Marceil was a homemaker. Marceil liked sewing, reading, working crossword puzzles, bird watching, flower gardening, music, helping people and traveling. Marceil was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, grew up in the Presbyterian Church, was a member of the R.L.D.S. / Community Of Christ Church in Skiatook and Sperry and a member of the Remnant Church Of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints in Sperry.
Marceil was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Clarence, one sister and by one brother.
Marceil is survived by her children: Richard Bohanan, Barbara Fennell, Janet Moore, Mike Harper and Mikki Curtis, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Marceil entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
