Memorial services for Michael George Rose will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Earleen Reedy, officiating. Private family interment wil follow.

Michael George Rose, age 51, of Skiatook, died at 12:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his Skiatook residence.

Michael was born January 2, 1964 in Corona, California to Lloyd and Joan (Troge) Rose. Michael grew up and received his education in St. Louis, Missouri at the Sitzinger Special School. Michael had worked for McDonalds and had also worked for Zebco in Tulsa. Michael loved to go fishing, watch war movies, work word search puzzles, channel surfing on the TV and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan knowing every player by name and knowing their positions they played.

Michael is survived by his father and step-mother; Lloyd and Connie Rose of Skiatook, mother; Joan Murnan of St. Louis, Missouri, a sister; Kimberly McDonald, sister; Renai Kuykendall and brother; Bryon Dobney, four nephews, one niece, two great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art and Go Rest High On That Mountain.

Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
