Melvillia “Jane” Bingamon, age 68, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:27 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Pawhuska from the results of injuries she sustained in a car accident.
Jane was born April 8, 1956, in Hawthorne, California to John C. and Clara Jane (Bell) Burroughs. Jane grew up and received her education in Fontana, California. Jane married Charles Raymond Bingamon on August 3, 1974 in Ontario, California making their home in Colorado until moving to Skiatook in 1976 where thy continued to make their home. Jane was employed with various restaurants and Cafes, Skiatook Nursing Home, and the Skiatook Public Schools where she worked in the cafeteria. Jane loved going to garage sales, working with ceramics, but most of all she loved her family spending time with them doing cookouts, and loving her grandchildren. Jane also had a cat, “Cutie-pie” that received sometimes more attention than the family. Jane was a member of the Community Lighthouse Church of Skiatook.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Burroughs, and by her son Eric Bingamon.
Janes is survived by her husband, Charles Bingamon of the home, three daughters, Jennifer Buck, Christina Michelle Bogle and Elizabeth Phillips, sister, Mindy Hearn, brother, John Burroughs, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
