Funeral Mass for Mary Ann Zodrow will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Mary Ann Zodrow, age 84, of Skiatook and former Tulsa resident died at 11:17 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Franciscan Villa in Broken Arrow.
Mary was born April 20, 1930 in Bloomington, Illinois to Frank and Jeannette (Fey) Harder. Mary grew up and received her education in Claremore graduating from high school in 1948. Mary married Joseph W. Zodrow Jr. on June 20, 1951 in Boston, MA and they made their home in Tulsa. Mary was employed with Tulsa Public Schools in 1965 and retired in 1994 where she was a secretary. Mary liked reading books, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was a member of the St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Tulsa.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, one sister and by three brothers.
Mary is survived by her four children; Martha Hoffman and husband Mike, Bill Zodrow and wife Kelly, Mike Zodrow and wife Dana and Jim Zodrow and wife Robyn, one brother; John Harder and sister in-law Lynn Kay, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Casket escorts for the services will be; Mikel Hoffman, Chris Zodrow, Joey Zodrow, Nick Zodrow, Adam Zodrow and Tyler Zodrow.
Music will be “How Great Thou Art” performed by Joey Zodrow.
Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
