Mary Bernadette Byers

The family will be holding a Celebration during a regular scheduled Sunday service for Mary.

Mary Bernadette Byers, age 72, of Tulsa went to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:21 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Mary was born August 17, 1951 in Houston, Texas to Kerry and Alma (Walker) Byers. Mary grew up and received her education in Houston, Texas where she graduated from the Jack Yates High School in 1969. Mary was employed with St. Johns working in the Aids House where she was a provider. Mary loved taking care of people, especially kids and loved helping people. Mary was a Minister where she was affilated with Abounding Grace and Truth Ministry. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her and her bubbly personality.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Kerry Byers and Alma Byers DeBlanc, and by two brothers and a sister.

Mary is survived by her two sons; Darren Byers and Kerry Byers, one brother; Nicholas Byers and one sister; Carolyn Wilkins, Partner Earlene Houser, four grandchildren; Darren, Jasmine, and Izzabella several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
