Martha Sue (Watt) Love

Martha Sue (Watt) Love, age 86, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:28 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2024, at her Skiatook residence.

Martha was born February 21, 1937, in Eldon, Missouri to Joseph Raymond and Audra Opal (Cotton) Watt. Martha grew up and received her education in Eldon, Missouri where she graduated high school in 1955. Martha married Billy Joe Love on June 16, 1956, at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church in Hickory Hill, Missouri making their home in Holt Summit, Missouri and moved to Skiatook in 2020. Martha also attended Drury University where she received her associate degree. Martha was a manager and cook for the Rickman Retreat Center. Martha loved playing with her grandchildren, embroidering, going to horse shows, and camping with her husband Billy.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Joe, and Audra Watt, husband, Billy, son, Michael Joe Love and by two sisters, Betty Jo Hudson, and Barbara Stambaugh.

Martha is survived by her children, Debbie Glaser, Russell Love, and wife Leah, Roger Love, and wife, Sherry, honorary son, Nathan Jett, and wife, Roxanne, one sister, Jane Hale, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Martha Love entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
