Funeral services for Martha Edwards will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Floyd Collins and Richard McPheeters officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Martha was born April 13, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Walter and Margaret (Burnham) Jacobs. Martha grew up and received her education in Tulsa. Martha married Leonard Alvin Edwards on April 15, 1949 in Skiatook making their home in Skiatook and Tulsa area. Martha was a homemaker. Martha liked painting, working jigsaw puzzles, fishing, and was a member of H.E.L.P. .

Martha was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Leonard, 5 brothers, 1 sister and by her daughter Debra.

Martha is survived by her children: Joseph Edwards and Leonard Edwards, son-in-law: Henry Hicks, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace” performed by: Libby Davis and “I’ll Fly Away” performed by: Libby Davis, JW Collins and Floyd Collins.

Pallbearers will be: John Hicks, Jeremiah Edwards, Amy Edwards, Nathaniel Edwards, Acland Edwards and Gene Jacobs.

The family of Martha Bell Edwards entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
