Mark Powell, age 65, of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his residence.
Mark was born July 25, 1958, in Waukegan, Illinois to Earl and Ellen (Brown) Powell. He grew up and received his education in Tulsa and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1976. Mark married JoAnn Annette Crofford on April 6, 1991, in Collinsville, Oklahoma. They made their home in Collinsville, Illinois, and Skiatook where they have lived since 2002. He worked as a car painter for ICS Coachworks and also worked for the Skiatook Statuary. Mark enjoyed working on model planes. He loved nature and being outdoors, fishing, taking walks, going to the lake, and hunting mushrooms with his son. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Mark was preceded in death by his Parents: Earl and Ellen.
Mark is survived by his wife: JoAnn Powell, children: Alicia Mocaby, Dakoda Powell, sisters: Belinda Bryan, Carol Cable, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
