Marjorie Arlene (Griggs) Guilfoyle, Harper Short

Visitation for Marjorie (Guilfoyle, Harper) Short  will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 with Rev. Dale Nielsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Marjorie (Guilfoyle, Harper) Short age 74, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.

Marjorie was born February 2, 1947 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Theodore Ray and Rosanna Leonard (McDonald) Griggs. She was raised as a Guilfoyle by Otis and Rosanna. She grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated in 1965. Marjorie was employed with Wal-Mart where she worked in accounting for two years, South Western Bell Telephone Company for a year and a half, and Wal-Mart where she retired from. Marjorie was a member of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints in Sperry, and the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook. Marjorie loved crocheting, all kinds of crafts, working word search puzzles, swimming and dancing and going to the casino.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her mother; Rosanna Guilfoyle and father; Theodore Griggs, step-father; Otis Guilfoyle, daughter; Dawna Beene, son; Robert Harper and sister; Judy Miller.

Marjorie is survived by her husband: David Short, son; John Harper and wife Christa, brother; George Guilfoyle and wife Glenda, six grandchildren; Jessica Harper, Machaela Bocock, Meagan Kellogg and husband Jason, Alec Bates and wife Becky, Evelyn Harper and Emma Harper,  two great grandchildren; Rylee Harper and Ryver Keller several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”.

Pallbearers will be; Hank Guilfoyle, David Ayres, Jason Kellogg, Christian Keller, Alec Bates and Jimmy Mizell.

The family of Marjorie Short entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
