Funeral services for Margaret Helen Allen will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Miller officiating.
Margaret Helen Allen, age 91, of Skiatook, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at St. John’s Hospital in Owasso, OK.
Margaret was born February 24, 1922 in Bartlesville, OK to Robert E Miller and Donella (Greenlee) Miller. Margaret was raised and schooled in the Skiatook Area, Margaret was Proud to be the only Female in the Tulsa Marching Band in 1937. She married Willie Jones and started a family, later Margaret married Paul Allen. Margaret was a homemaker predominately but worked at Dick Conner Correctional Center retiring from there. Margaret loved to read, played all kinds of card games, knit and embroider until her eyesight started to fail. She also played the organ at the Methodist church in Barnsdall, and was a member of the Order Of Eastern Star.
Margaret is survived by: two daughters; Peggy Vangorp of Russellville, AR and Patsy Etheredge and spouse Elton of Alta Loma, CA; sister: Billie Simpson and spouse Wayne of Collinsville, OK; brother: Bob Miller and spouse Margie of Moore, OK; 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Margaret was preceded in Death by her parents, her husband Paul Allen, son Tom Jones, daughter Donna Adams, granddaughter Tracy Etheredge, great grandson Coty Morrison.
Casket escorts for the service are: Eric Lewis, Tyler Abel, Tanner Morrison, Jeff Ritchie, Zack Abel and Katy Sloniker. Honorary escorts are: Jason Walker, the late Coty Morrison, Tony Morrison, Jay Etheredge, Elton Etheredge, Wayne Simpson, Tom Beyard, Bob Hussey, Bob Miller, Jack Bugg, Babe Long and Tom Jones.

Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
