Lynda Kay (Hendrix) Evans

Lynda Evans, age 74, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 9, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Lynda was born October 27, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ermel Davis and Lois Beatrice (Cantrell) Hendrix. She grew up and received her education in Jenks, Oklahoma graduating in 1965. After high school she attended classes at TTC and became an LPN. She was employed with St. Francis Hospital and Skiatook Nursing Home. She was director of nursing at Sand Springs Nursing Home and worked for Rose Rock Hospice, Soujourn Hospice and Grace Hospice. She was a member of the Ascension Church in Skiatook. Lynda enjoyed taking care of people and loved animals, road trips, and spending time with her family.

Lynda was preceded in death by her mother and father: Lois and Ermel, and one sister.

Lynda is survived by her daughter: Denise Smith and husband Slaton., sister: Wanema Roberts and husband J.W., three grandchildren; Brandon Lewis and Fiancée Ashley, April Morrow and husband Terry and Ashlee Rambo and husband Billy, nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Lynda Evans entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
