Lovanna Lee Delancy
Graveside services for Lovanna Lee Delancy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Osage Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Morford, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Lovanna Lee Delancy, age 72, of Sperry, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in an auto accident near McAlister.
Lovanna was born September 22, 1940 in Avant, Oklahoma to Robert M. and Nora C. (Greene) Hopkins. Lovanna grew up and received her education in Avant graduating in 1959. Lovanna married Donald Delancy on November 28, 1958 in Pawhuska and made their home in Hawaii, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Avant and has lived in Sperry since 1967. Lovanna was employed with St. Francis Hospital where she was the Educational Coordinator retiring in 1997.
Lovanna liked ceramics, fishing, sewing, cooking and playing games.
Lovanna was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, two sons; Morris Keith Delancy and David Bradley Delancy and by two brothers.
Lovanna is survived by her three children; Brian Dean Delancy of Sperry, Angie Rae-Dawn Covey of Sand Springs, and Lee-Ann Delancy Atwell of Skiatook, one brother; Ray Hopkins of Skiatook, one sister; Louise Malloy of Skiatook, nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
