Louise (Murry) Fancher, age 88 of Skiatook, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022
at her residence in Skiatook.
Bessie Louise (Murry) Fancher was born on March 14,1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Dan
Herman Murry and Edith Ada Shipley. Louise married Jack Eldon Fancher on August
13, 1951 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Tulsa area and lived a
short time in California as well. Majority of their years were spent on a dairy farm in the
northern Tulsa area before retiring to the Skiatook community. Louise was an avid
seamstress, she loved knitting, crocheting, and creating things for her family and
friends. She spent many years being involved in various churches and bible studies.
Louise loved to spend time with her family and community. She loved reading her bible,
caring for her plants, and visiting with her good friends Wanda, Carol, and Sandy.
Louise was a devout mother and grandmother to her three children, 11 grandchildren,
28 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Louise had many treasured
friendships over the years and valued them greatly.
Louise attended multiple schools, but Shady Grove was one of the impactful elementary
schools as that is where she met her husband, Jack. She had a variety of jobs
throughout the years from seamstress, elevator operator, egg candler, caregiver,
ceramic shop owner, cleaning services, hotel operator, dairy farm owner, and even a hot
shot driver.
Louise was welcomed into Heaven by: her parents; husband, Jack Eldon; son, Jack
Eugene; son-in-law, David Warlick; grandson, Jeff Warlick; and grandsons-in-law, Bobby
Brown and Jeff Booker.
Louise will be missed by those who have survived her: brother Danny Murry; sisters
Jean Meyer, Mary Murry, and Linda Smart and husband Robert; daughter Sheila
Warlick Kesterson and husband Steve, of Skiatook; daughter-in-law Doylene Fancher
Washington and husband Justin, of Skiatook; son Ronnie Fancher and wife Tracy of
Sperry; grandchildren; Greg and Crytsal Warlick, Melissa and Chris Preslar, Josh and
Jayme Warlick, Lena and Craig Jones, Angela and Marc Wells, Shala and Bill
Cormican, Katie and Justin Prince, Trevor and Sarah Fancher, Cole and Delaney
Fancher, Reed Fancher as well as her great grandchildren, and a host of other family
and friends.
