Funeral services for Loretta Sue Welch will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Floral haven Cemetery in broken Arrow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral home.

Loretta Sue Welch, age 57, of Skiatook, died at 7:47 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Hillcrest Medical center in Tulsa.

Loretta was born December 25, 1956 in Sumpter, South Carolina to Vernon Ray and Gwendolyn Irene (Spurgeon) Eastin. Loretta grew up and received her education in Alaska, Oklahoma and graduated in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1974. Loretta married Jimmy Lee Welch on August 14, 1976 in Tulsa where they made their home until moving to Skiatook in 1992. Loretta was a home maker and was of Deep Christian Faith. Loretta liked reading, playing bingo and working math puzzles.

Loretta was preceded in death by her mother.

Loretta is survived by her husband; Jimmy of the home, one daughter; Lena Hendrix and husband Billy of Edmond, father; Vernon Ray Eastin of the home, one sister; Verna Jones of Skiatook, one brother; Billy Eastin of Skiatook,, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; “One More Day”, “”Drink A Beer” and “Amazing Grace”.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
