Funeral services for Lonnie Virgil Easky will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Barton Kelly, officiating. Private family to follow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Lonnie Virgil Easky, age 70, died at 4:07 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Skiatook Nursing Home.
Lonnie was born September 4, 1943 in Susanville, California to Bill and Fannie (Chuckluck) Easky. Lonnie grew up and received his education in the Salina, Oklahoma area. Lonnie married Susan Parr on February 15, 1979 and made their home on the East Coast. Lonnie moved to Skiatook in 2012 to be close to his mom and family. Lonnie was a caretaker for many years, was a small boat maker and took people on fishing trips and tours. Lonnie liked fishing, gardening, carpentry work and was a handyman.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his father, wife Susan, one brother, and by two son’s.
Lonnie is survived by his mother; Fannie Murphy of Skiatook, three children; Betty Greenwalt of Collinsville, Lisa Kittrell of Skiatook and Christina Lane of Panama City, Florida, seven brothers and sisters; Caleb Beem of Locust Grove, Johnann Forkner of Chouteau, OK, Linda Dickinson of Sperry, Andrew Easky of Muskogee, Anita Ford of Skiatook, Patsy Easky of Pryor and Kelly Collins of Skiatook, step-daughter; Julie Klinger and step- son; Warren Boggess eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services and cremation are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
