Funeral services for Linda Guffey will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Linda Lou Guffey, age 72, of Skiatook, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Skiatook Nursing Home.

Linda was born July 24, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri to Woodrow and Lois (Smith) Maycock. She grew up and received her education in Kansas City, Missouri. Linda married Harold Dewayne Guffey in 1971. Linda worked for the Skiatook Nursing Home and Collinsville Manor Nursing Home where she was a CNA and a CMA. Linda also owned and operated Bigfoots Convenience Store. Linda liked singing and dancing.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers: Ronnie Maycock and Upton Maycock and by a great granddaughter: Jaydenn.

Linda is survived by her children: Steve Guffey , Gary Guffey, Natalie Hamilton, Harold Guffey Jr. and Lea Guffey, two sisters: Norma Kearney and Kathy Maycock, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace” and “When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder”.

Pallbearers for the services are: Gary Guffey Jr., Bobby Hamilton III, Steven Hamilton, Shannon Watkins, Owen Collins and Jake Guffey.

The family of Linda Guffey entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
