Linda Louise (Gabel) Frick

The visitation For Linda Frick will be Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present to receive friends and funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, both at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home. A private family graveside will be held in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Linda Louise Frick, age 83, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:37 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa.

Linda was born December 27, 1940, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Lawrence “Blackie” and Samantha (Raven) Gabel. Linda grew up and received her education in Dewey where she graduated high school in 1959. Linda married Ray Wilbur Frick in 1964, making their home in Dewey until moving to Skiatook in 1969. Linda was a Legal Secretary for City Services and Oxy Corporation. Linda loved to crochet, knit, working in her yard, ceramics, pottery, and painting. Linda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Skiatook.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Blackie and Samantha Gabel, one brother; Lawrence Keith Gabel, and by her son; Michael “Mike” Frick.

Linda is survived by her sons; Sonny Dee Frick and Daniel Eric Frick, one sister; Iris Brantley, one brother; Brian Keith Gabel, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the service; “Amazing Grace” (In Cherokee), and “I’ll Fly Away”.

The family of Linda Frick entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
