Larry Harley, age 49, of Skiatook, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa.
Larry was born October 31, 1970 in Redding, Pennsylvania to Lawrence Harley Jr. and Joyce Gwen (Gappa) Harley. He grew up and received his education in Skiatook, Oklahoma graduating in 1989. Larry married Kathaleen Renae Gerhard on December 22, 1990 in Skiatook. After high school he joined the Army and also served in the National Guard until 1996. He has been involved with Fire Protection for the past 25 years. Larry coached Little League baseball for 8 years, girls softball competitive league for 8 years and enjoyed playing softball himself. Larry was also into martial arts from 2001 until his death where he was a instructor of martial arts, he also enjoyed mixed martial arts where he also became a instructor. Larry’s most proud time of all was spoiling his wife and kids at any cost to himself. Larry had a love for everybody no matter your past or present status he showed you love and respect.
Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother: Lawrence and Joyce.
Larry is survived by his wife: Kathaleen, children: Dylan Harley, Brandon Harley, and Jordan Harley, brothers: Brian Harley and Richard Harley granddaughter: Liora and Zeda, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
