Funeral services for LaVerna Lee Lobaugh will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the osage Gardens cemetery with Pastor Monte Lovvorn, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage gardens cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Laverna lee Lobaugh, age 74, of Skiatook, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa.

Laverna was born March 30, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Earnest and LaVada (Wolfe) Morgan. LaVerna grew up and received her education in Skiatook. LaVerna married Allen Miller on May 11, 1957 in Skiatook where they had made their home. LaVerna married Phillip Lobaugh on February 18, 1983 making their home in Skiatook. LaVerna was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for Dr.’s Hospital and had also worked for Hillcrest Medical center. LaVerna liked spending time with family and friends and spoiling her dog Poppy.

LaVerna was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Phillip and one sister Elaine.

LaVerna is survived by her two children: Cathy Ellis and husband David and Denise Miller, one brother: Gary Morgan, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: David Logan Ellis, Brady Ellis, Joe Green, David Ellis, Steven Morgan and Darrin DeShazer.

The family of LaVerna Lee Lobaugh entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
