He was employed by W. L . Walker Company in Tulsa for 40 years.  It was the only job he ever worked his adult life.  He  lived in Skiatook for over 20 years.

As a teenager Larry ran a church bus through the north side of Tulsa, picking up kids and taking them to church.  He would sing and laugh and all the kids loved him.  He also loved to sing Gospel songs.  As a young man he sang in a quartet that traveled around to different churches.  He had a great voice and sang the lead part.
Larry had a lot of different interests.  He enjoyed fishing, basketball, smoking meat, and feeding people the meat he had smoked.  He was a selfless person and he loved to serve others.
Bonnie and Olivia want everyone to know what a wonderful father Larry was.  He loved his family and provided for them.  He was a giver and he gave it his all.  He always saw the best in people and he wanted them to see the best in themselves.  He was an encourager.  Larry was the type of guy that loved everyone.  In closing, this is the message that Larry wanted everyone to hear.
“Know today you are not forgotten,  I love you soooo much, but Oh our Heavenly Father loves you so much more.  You can find this love at the foot of the cross where I found hope, healing, and restoration.”
