Kevin Duane Anthony, age 57 of Barnsdall went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Tulsa.
Funeral services for Kevin Duane Anthony will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Barnsdall. Interment will follow in the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Kevin was born June 7, 1963 in Tulsa to Marion E. Jr. and Flora Mae (DeShazer) Anthony. Kevin was raised in Avant graduating from Barnsdall High School in 1981. Kevin married Veroca Jeane Ferrell on August 3, 1984 and made their home in Barnsdall since that time. Kevin was employed with DSR for 10 years where he was a Project Manager and worked in Sales. Kevin was a Sports Broadcaster: Voice of Pawhuska Huskies, coached Little League Baseball and Basketball. Kevin was a avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooner’s, St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. Kevin was known as Pap Paw and a proud one at that.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Rev. M.E. Anthony Jr and Flora Mae Anthony, mother-in-law: Veroca Ferrell and by a brother: Charles Vance Miller.
Kevin is survived by his wife: Jeane Anthony, sons: Heath Anthony and wife Jenny of Tulsa, Drew Anthony of Bartlesville and Corey Anthony and wife Charter of Bartlesville, granddaughters: Audrie Anthony and Sadie Anthony, siblings: Rick Anthony and wife Janell and Karen South and husband David, Father-in-law: Doyle Ferrell and wife Sue, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Donna and Mike Reese, special family friends: James and Janetta Forbes, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be: Vance Miller, Brian Miller, Rob Miller, Michael Morris, Josh Jones and Justin Javine.
Music for the service will be: :Dancing In The Sky”, “That’s My Job” and “Boomer Sooner”.
The family of Kevin D. Anthony entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
