Memorial graveside services for Kennith will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Osage Gardens Veterans Memorial with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Kennith Leon Delk, age 73, of Skiatook, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Clarehouse in Tulsa.
Kennith was born August 24, 1941 in Stigler, Oklahoma to George Washington and Edith (Dobson) Delk. Kennith grew up and received his education in Skiatook, graduating from high school in 1959. Kennith married Kathryn Ann Pauley on October 15th, 1963 in Washington, DC and they made their home in Skiatook since 1979. Kennith entered into the United States Marines in 1959 and retired in 1979. Kennith had also worked for American Airlines where he was a Tech Crew Chief for 16 years. Kennith liked to square dance and traveling.
Kennith was preceded in death by his mother and father and by two sisters.
Kennith is survived by his wife; Kathryn of the home, two sons; Scott Delk and wife Helen of Tulsa and Lance Delk of Owasso, two grandchildren; Kayla and Karston, two sisters; Alene Ragsdale of Tulsa and Ziona Bolen of Tennessee, one brother; George Delk of Skiatook, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Cremation and Memorial services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
