Kenneth Wayne Wooten, age 73, of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at his residence.
Kenneth was born June 18, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Billy Clarence and Geneva (Million) Wooten. He grew up and received his education in Sand Springs and graduated from Charles Page High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1977 and was stationed in Japan working as an avionics technician on P-3's in 1973. Kenneth was a union boilermaker from 1979 to 1984 and then an electrician for GRDA until he retired in 2014. On March 14, 2014, he married Patricia Ann (Cottman) Gobble in Branson, Missouri and they made their home in Skiatook since that time. Kenneth enjoyed fixing and putting things together, gardening, and he loved cooking and experimenting with spices.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Geneva.
Kenneth is survived by his wife: Patti, children: Erika Rhodes, Lance Wooten, Samantha Portilloz, Melissa Higgins, and Michael Gobble, brothers: Billy Wooten, Bobby Wooten, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Kenneth Wooten entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
