Kenneth Ray Stout

Visitation for Kenneth Ray Stout was held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Stout were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 7 th , 2012 with Jonathan Stout and Jeremy Stout, officiating. Private family interment followed in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Kenneth Ray Stout, age 77, of Skiatook, died at 8:32 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012 at his Skiatook residence.

Kenneth was born January 30, 1935 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Raymond Walter and Edna Belle (Wagoner) Stout. Kenneth grew up and received his education in the Javine school for eight years then transferred to Skiatook and graduated in 1954. Kenneth entered into the United States Army in 1954 and received his honorable discharge in 1956 serving in Turkey. Kenneth married Nancy Elizabeth Hendryx on January 17, 1964 in Skiatook where they have made their home since that time. Kenneth worked for Standard Motor Supply where he was a parts manager and then he worked for Osage County District 2 where he was on the road crew and retired in 1998. Kenneth liked farming, working on John Deer Tractors and picking pecans. Kenneth was a faithful member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother and father, one sister: Rosalie Fisher, one grandson: Mathias Stout and by one son-in-law: Doug Wilkins.

Kenneth is survived by his wife; Nancy of the home, five children; Kendy McNaughten and husband Timothy of Skiatook, Kay Stout of the home, Konny Wilkins of Skiatook, Jonathan Stout and wife Vanessa of Skiatook and Jeremy Stout and wife Samantha also of Skiatook, one sister; Anna Mae Lierly and husband Raymond of Skiatook, twelve grandchildren; Crispen McNaughten, Caleb, Hannah, Joshua and Sarah Wilkins, Promise, Gabriel, Josiah, Ethan, Morgan, Hope and Ryder Stout, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services were; Mike Campbell, Clay Cox, Pete Roberson, Olen Brittain, Brent Warrior and Larry Dearing. Honorary casket escorts were; Senior Adult Men’s Bible Class.

Music for the services was; “Amazing Grace” and “It Is Well” performed by the congregation and “I’ll Walk Beside You” performed by Margret and Charles Carver.
