Kathy Garza

Kathy Marie Soles Garza graduated to her place in heaven on November 18, 2021 from her home in Skiatook, Oklahoma. A powerhouse of a woman and a true warrior for Christ, Kathy will be greatly missed by all lives she touched.

Kathy was born on January 23, 1956 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James and Hazel Soles, both of whom proceeded her in death. She is also proceeded in death by her brother Glen and sister Teresa Soles.

Kathy is survived by her brother Michael Soles, her children Barbara Hollis, James Aynes, and Michael Aynes, grandchildren Shayla Aynes, Kaylee Aynes, Stephen Hollis, Colton Aynes, Lainey Aynes, and Carter Aynes, great grandchildren Lillie and Anthony Bodine, and Oaklee Aynes, and her bonus grandchildren, Hunter McClard, Holley Jenson, and Vance King.

Kathy’s spirit is carried on in the mission she was devoted to for the past 7 years, her church and Heaven Sent Food Pantry. She believed her true calling in life was to serve the Lord with a joyful heart, and she definitely found her place at Skiatook First Assembly.

Those who knew Kathy know that long before Heaven Sent she had a passion for service, from taking in anyone in need to her mission work in Mexico. Kathy tried to be a blessing to everyone she met.

“For even the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life as a ransom for many” Mark 10:45

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of memorial donations, the family asks for charitable donations to Heaven Sent Food Pantry and other acts of “Kathy” kindness.

“Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” Luke 6:38
