Funeral services for Katherine Elizabeth Napier will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015  in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Butler, officiating. Interment will follow in the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Katherine Elizabeth Napier, age 68, of Broken Arrow, died at 5:35 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa.

Katherine was born June 21, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri to John Leslie and Helen L. (Shoop) Bardo. Katherine grew up and received her education in Kansas City, Missouri graduating from the Parkhill High School. Katherine married David Carl Napier on August 24, 1971 in Miami, Oklahoma making their home in Tulsa and Ft. Gibson. Katherine was a homemaker of the home. Katherine liked to go bowling, crochet, work puzzles and was active in church activities.

Katherine was preceded in death by her father John in July of 2004, her mother: Helen in December of 2014 and her husband: David in November of 2014.

Katherine is survived by her: brother: John T. Bardo, sister: Vickie Walker, step children: David Jr., Davinna, Valerie and Vienna, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: Jesus Loves Me”, “In The Sweet Bye and Bye”, I’ll Fly away” and “Amazing Grace”.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
