Judy Marie (Swiggart) Butler

Judy Marie Butler, 77, of Skiatook, OK passed away on May 29, 2020 at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

Judy was born in Enid, OK on August 22nd, 1942 to Ray and Marie (Glaser) Swiggart.  She married Chet Butler on May 12th, 1972.  She enjoyed a long career of 28 years as a teachers assistant at Skiatook Public Schools.

Judy was a devoted mother, spouse, teacher and traveler.  She and her husband traveled the United States with their camper and motorcycle.  She spent most of her teaching career helping mentally and physically impaired children at Skiatook Public Schools.  She was a spiritual woman and was involved in many church activities.

Judy is preceded in death by parents Ray and Marie Swiggart and sister Sherry Swiggart.

Judy is survived by husband of 48 years, Chet Butler, children and spouses; Denny and Erin Butler, Julie Butler, Dion Dout, Darin and Dawn Dout; her brother Doug Swiggart, grandchildren;  Raphe Johns, Devin Dout, Dylan Dout, Olivia Butler, Madison Dout, Morgan Dout, Reiss Dout; great grandchild Dawsyn Johns.

Her legacy will live in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.  She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.
