Judy was born in Tacoma, Washington to Wayne C. Fields and Doris May Fields. Her parents moved to Cabazon, California then to Indio, California and finally settled in Rancho Mirage, California with her two siblings Carolyn, Billie Dee and her parents. Judy went to Cochella Valley Union High School and graduated in 1961. She married her high school sweetheart on July 14, 1962. Judy proceeded to have two children. Todd Monroe Graves was born July 19, 1963 and nine years later she had Tammy May Lopez on July 14, 1972. Judy went on to graduate from San Bernardino Valley College with her degree in culinary arts. After graduation, she owned two businesses. One called The Upper Crust Catering and the other was called Love In The Basket. After her success, she went to work for Choice Inns as a marketing and Public relations director. Later on in life she moved to Summerlin, Nevada and continued to work until her retirement. Judy is survived by her children Todd Monroe Graves, Tammy May Lopez and her husband Leonard Lopez and her grandchildren Todd M. Graves Jr., Leonard Lopez Jr., and Lorenzo Joseph Lopez. She will always be remembered for her smile, wearing a red hat and her favorite saying, "Put some sunshine in your life."
