Josephine “Jo” Ione Odell

Funeral services for Jo Odell will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jonathon Cook officiating.

Jo Odell, age 75, of Skiatook, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at her residence.

Jo was born January 20, 1945 in Glenco, Oklahoma to Willie and Vera (Duty) Evans. She grew up and received her education in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Billy LeRoy Odell on June 5, 1965 in Tulsa. Jo enjoyed raising dogs, dancing, working in the flower beds, traveling, riding horses, rodeos, and was a member of a horseback square dancing drill team. Jo loved spending time making memories with family and friends.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband: Billy,  son: Chris Odell, mother and father: Vera and Willie Evans, three brothers; Bill Evans, Corky Evans and Mike Evans.

Jo is survived by her Daughter: Jodi Kaiser and husband Patrick, two grandchildren: Daniel Kaiser and Patrick Kaiser, Sisters: Faye Claunts and husband B.J., Elizabeth Turner, Betty Erwin, sister-in-law Debbie Trotter and husband Rowdy, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the service will be: “When I Close My Eyes”, “Stars On The Water”, "Beulah Land" and “When I’m Gone”.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Mike Adams, Alan Carter Jr., Steve Ree, Mike Evans, Charles Reed, and Daniel Kaiser.

Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be: Patrick Kaiser, Rowdy Trotter, and Cody Trotter.

The family of Jo Odell entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
