John “Johnny” Lee Wheeler

Funeral services for Johnny Wheeler will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 11, 2019 at Osage Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating.

Johnny Wheeler, age 76, of Skiatook, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at his residence in Skiatook.

Johnny was born November 20, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John James and Pearlee Victoria (Roper) Wheeler. He grew up and received his education in Tulsa. He married Charlotte Louise Byrne February 12, 1962 making their home in Tulsa until moving to Skiatook in 1971. He was employed with Fo-Mac where he received the presidential award. He also worked for Shatwell Heating & Air and for his brother. He enjoyed Fishing, doing small projects around the house, playing cards, and spending time with family.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father and mother, one brother, one sister, and 1 nephew Ricky Lee Groves.

Johnny is survived by his wife: Charlotte and children: Lonnie James Wheeler, Ronnie Lee Wheeler, Christie Lynn Wheeler, brother: Edward “Roy” Wheeler, and sister: Judy Carol Parrick, grandchildren: Nick Wheeler, Zack Wheeler, Amy Wheeler, Heather Wheeler Hefton, April Louise Sellers, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
