Born on January 10, 1938, in Inola, Oklahoma, to Ray and Thelma Lowther, Jo Ann grew into a woman of strength, kindness, and creativity, treasuring the simple joys of life. Jo Ann's journey began in the small town of Inola, where she received her education and planted the seeds of a life marked by dedication and love. She married the love of her life, Raymond Leroy Basore, on July 31, 1954, in Claremore, Oklahoma. Their union was a testament to enduring love, spanning an impressive 70 years. Jo Ann's involvement with the Inola Roundup Club showcased her commitment to community and her love for the traditions of her hometown. Her faith was an integral part of her essence, and she served with grace as a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where her presence will be profoundly missed.
