Funeral services for Joan Westmoland will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Lighthouse Church with Rev. Bill Taylor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Joan Westmoland, age 77, of Skiatook, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at her Skiatook residence.

Joan was born February 7, 1939 in Sperry, Oklahoma to John and Elnora (Nix) Summers. Joan grew up and received her education in Sperry. Joan married Ned Westmoland on October 13, 1956 in Skiatook where they have continued to make their home. Joan liked spending time with family and taking care of her grandchildren. Joan liked to fish, sew, play poker, liked going on vacations and gaming. Joan was a member of the Lighthouse Church.

Joan was preceded in death by her mother and father, one Daughter: Julie, two sisters and by one brother.

Joan is survived by her husband Ned of the home, two children: Johnny Westmoland and Joanna Smith, one sister: Nola Robinson, one brother: Buddy Summers, two grandchildren: Monica Smith and Farrin Smith several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Praise The Lord” and “I Believe”.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Jarred Brown, Roger Willhite, Roger Alan Willhite, Stormy Miller, Teddy Todd and Chance Huddleston.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
