Funeral services for Jimmy Ray Reeves will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Leonard officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Jimmy Ray Reeves, age 85, of Skiatook, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 in Claremore.

Jim was born November 10, 1934 in Beggs, Oklahoma to William and Jewell (Austin) Reeves. Jim grew up and received his education in Skiatook. Jim served his country while enlisted in the United States Army in 1962 and received his honorable discharge in 1965. Jim married Bonita Dilley in July of 1954 making their home in Skiatook. Jim later in life married Ilene in Skiatook where he had continued to make his home. Jim worked in the oilfields most of his life and was a pumper. Jim loved to go fishing, hunting and loved the outdoors.  Jim was a member of the Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife; Bonita, wife Ilene, two brothers and by one sister.

Jim is survived by his children; Mark Reeves, Gayla Reeves and Roy Reeves, five sisters, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Jimmy Reeves entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
