Jimmie Lee Morris

Jimmie Lee Morris, age 88, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Owasso.

Jimmie was born November 7, 1933 in Gage, Oklahoma to Walter and Helen (Crowder) Morris. Jimmie grew up and received his education in Gage. Jimmie entered into the United States Marine Corp on October 17, 1951 and received his honorable discharge on July 28, 1955. Jimmie married Karolyn Sue Reeves on June 28, 1958 in Bentonville, Arkansas and made their home in Skiatook. Jimmie was employed with Boeing Aircraft for 31 years before his retirement. Jimmie liked cars, collecting Hot Wheels, reading Science Fiction books and watching the Travel channel.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother and father, son; Jimmie Lee Morris Jr., one brother and by two sisters.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of 64 years Karolyn Sue Morris, children; Walter Lynn Morris and wife Cindy, brother;  Roy Morris, sister; Jan Kohlmeyer, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Jimmie Lee Morris entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
