Jimmie Earl Mizell, age 88, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Skiatook.
Jimmie was born December 29, 1932 in Kinta, Oklahoma to James Enoch and Lillie (Ainsworth) Mizell. Jimmie grew up and received his education in Kinta, Oklahoma. Jimmie married Eunice Ann Moody on May 29, 1952 in Kinta, Oklahoma. Jimmie entered into the United States Army in April of 1953 and received his honorable discharge in 1955. Jimmie and Eunice lived in Kinta moving to Tulsa and moved to Sperry in 1960 until moving to Skiatook in 2006 where they have made their home since that time. Jimmie was employed with Fred Jones Lincoln and Mercury where he was a Body Shop Manager. Jim also was self-employed where he owned and operated Jim Mizell Collision Center until he retired. After retirement Jim worked for various body shops. Jim loved horseback riding and going to the rodeos. Jim was a member of the Turley Roundup Club, Farrier's College Roundup Club where he was President. Jimmie also road with the Turley Thrill Riders Drill Team and loved fishing when he got to go.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother and father: Lillie and James Mizell, one son: Terry Mizell, one sister: Katheryn Ogle and by one brother: George Mizell.
Jimmie is survived by his wife: Eunice of the home, two sons: Keith Mizell and Jimmie Mizell Jr., two sisters: Lois Green and Vivian Mitchell, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Jimmie Earl Mizell Sr. entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with his care and arrangements.
