Celebration of Life service for Jimmie Lee Bolin will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Osage Gardens Cemetery Veterans Memorial Building. Interment will follow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home. Full military honors will accord Jimmie Lee Bolin by the Skiatook American Legion Post.

Jimmie Bolin, age 86, of Skiatook, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 in Collinsville.

Jimmie was born March 12, 1933 in Kellyville, Oklahoma to Ernest and Irene (Kirk) Bolin. Jimmie was raised by his aunt and uncle; Jim and Lela Acree.  Jimmie grew up and received his education at Wild Horse and graduated in 1951 from Skiatook High School. Jimmie entered into the United States Air Force where he served his country proudly and received his honorable discharge in 1955. Jimmie married Frances Rountree on July 16, 1955 in Skiatook making their home in Kansas, and Oklahoma moving to Skiatook in 1980. Jimmie was employed with Sinclair Oil where he was a pumper and retired from Atlantic Richfield. Jimmie liked fishing and watching his kids through the years play ball.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife; Frances in 2003 one brother, one granddaughter and by one great grandson.

Jimmie is survived by his three children; Terry Bolin and wife Shelia, Steve Bolin and Brett Bolin and wife Dana, one half- brother; Dan Bolin, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
