Funeral services for Jessie Lee Shelton will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Jessie Lee Shelton, age 89, of Skiatook, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Skiatook Nursing Home.

Jessie was born August 2, 1929 in Stigler, Oklahoma to James Cecil and Ercy (Rader) Delk. Jessie grew up and received her education in Talala and Skiatook. Jessie married Calvin M. Shelton on April 26, 1947 in Skiatook where they have lived since that time. Jessie went to work for Dr. Guthrie on September 5, 1965 and had worked with Dr. Rosdahl and Dr. Wolf retiring August 2, 1989. Jessie was a homemaker, loved cooking and sewing.

Jessie was preceded in death by her mother and father, one daughter; Sherian Russell,  two brothers and by two sisters.

Jessie is survived by her husband Calvin Shelton, two grandchildren; Rikki and Greg, great granddaughter Sidney  several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Jessie Shelton entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
