Jerry Thomas age 79 of Collinsville, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday February 27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Jerry was born August 1, 1943 in Hereford, Texas to Clyde and Alice (Lytle) Thomas. He grew up and received his education in Hereford and graduated from Hereford High School. He also attended Long Beach State in California where he got a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. After high school he served in the United States Marines. Jerry married Mary Christine “Tina” Lochausen on November 10, 1991. They lived in Chino Hills, California and Big Bear, California before moving to Collinsville in 2005. He was employed with Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton, California until he retired in December of 1998. Jerry was a recreational pilot and enjoyed flying and building airplanes, and also enjoyed fishing.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde and Alice, sisters: Clydene Davis, Debra Thomas, and step-son: Dale Keith.
Jerry is survived by his wife: Tina, children: Jerry Thomas Jr. “Kurt”, Shelly McCarroll, and Crystal Garcia, grandchildren: Alexandria McCarroll, Katherine Hook, Victoria Garcia, step-children: Laura Keith, Brian Keith, David Keith, thirteen step-grandchildren, six great step-grandchildren, sisters: Lois Loch, Dorathy Harvey, Pearl Messick, Betty Childs, Linda Tarpley, Cynthia Thomas, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
