Jerry Dean Gaffney

Jerry Dean Gaffney, age 85 of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior at 9:39 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Porta Caeli House in Tulsa.

Jerry was born June 5, 1938, in Topeka, Kansas to William Theodore and Cleo (Givens) Gaffney. Jerry grew up and received his education in Sperry. Jerry married La Quita Shelton they were married for 18 years. On February 24, 1979, Jerry married Vicky C. Hale in Skiatook where they had made their home since that time. Jerry served for almost 10 years in the National Guard. Jerry was employed with WC Norris Sucker Rods for 40 years as a machinist. Jerry also worked for Osage Casino in Skiatook where he was a security guard for 12 years. Jerry loved to go fishing, camping and loved spending time with the grandkids and family.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; William and Cleo Gaffney, son; Mark Allen Gaffney, three brothers and by four sisters.

Jerry is survived by his wife; Vicky Gaffney, children; Tonya Gaffney and Brandon Gaffney, brother; Rick Gaffney, two sisters; Betty Crooks and Marilyn Felts, numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be;

Pallbearers are; Brandon Gaffney, Michael Joe Gaffney, Will Thomas, Mark Wills, Travis Rosson and Levi Rosson.

The family of Jerry Gaffney entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
