Jeffrey Alan Cooper

Jeff was born September 2, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas to Clarence LeRoy and Barbara Frances (Gilmore) Cooper. Jeff grew up and received his education in Skiatook where he graduated with the class of 1977. Jeff married Susan Jane Snell on August 1, 1980 in Broken Arrow making their home in Skiatook. Jeff was employed with SouthWestern Bell where he held a number of titles, including that of Lineman, which he was most proud. In 2014, after 36 hard years of service Jeff finished his career with AT&T and what a glorious day it was.

Jeff loved to hunt and fish, but his true passion was gardening, a talent he learned from his father which allowed him to provide, not only for his family, but for others in the community around him.

In retirement, Jeff discovered a new hobby. Riding his Harley with his wife, Susan, quickly became his favorite past time. In 2019, Jeff became a grandfather, which according to him, was the most favorite title he ever held.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; Barbara Moore, Clarence Cooper and wife; Susan Cooper.

Jeff is survived by his two sons; Jeffrey J. Cooper and Scotty A. Cooper, three brothers; David Cooper, Kenny Cooper and Mike Cooper, one granddaughter, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Jeffrey Cooper entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with his care and services.
