J C Taylor

JC Taylor age 93 of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday November 11, 2023, at his residence.

JC was born July 8, 1930, in Stoney Creek, Tennessee to John Henry and Zilda Omie (Swift) Taylor. He grew up and received his education in Tennessee and graduated from Unaka High School. After high school he attended Trade School in Georgia and learned autobody & paint, where he worked for GM at the Pontiac Michigan facility. On April 6, 1953, JC married Katherine Marie Smith in Tennessee and they later made their home in Baldwin Park, California. JC was employed with Beckman Instruments in California where he was a sheet metal fabricator. He retired from Beckman Instruments in 1992. He was a member of Christ Church of The Valley in San Dimas, California. JC enjoyed traveling, camping, going to the casino, watching movies, reading and loved spending time with his family.

JC was preceded in death by his parents: John and Zilda, wife: Katherine, two sisters, four brothers, and one great grandchild.

JC is survived by his children: Cynthia Sperry, Brenda Martin, Rebecca Leathers, James Taylor, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild on the way, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of JC Taylor entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home before traveling to his final resting place at the side of his wife Katherine in California.
