Funeral services for Janice K. Garrison-Coffey will be held a 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Janice Kathleen Garrison-Coffey, age 52, of Skiatook, died at 11:52 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.
Janice was born September 28, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Carral and Myrtle Lavonne (Tyler) LeGrand. Janice grew up and received her education in Tulsa and Skiatook. Janice attended Nursing School at Nurse Finders where she received her C.N.A.. Janice worked at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa and at the Skiatook Nursing Home. Janice liked making dream catchers, writing songs and poems, and working on arts and crafts. Janice attended the Lighthouse Church in Skiatook.
Janice was preceded in death by her father; James Carral LeGrand, daughter; Lakota Lavonne and by one brother; Jason LeGrand.
Janice is survived by her husband; Robert Wilson of the home, mother; Lavonne LeGrand of the home, six children; Jamie Lynn Garrison of Springfield, Missouri, Michael Shane Garrison of Kentucky, Shannon Coffey of Skiatook, Chelsey Wilson of Skiatook, Christopher Wilson of Skiatook and Robert W. Wilson also of Skiatook, two brothers; William LeGrand Sr. of Skiatook and James Carral LeGrand Jr. also of Skiatook, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Casket escorts for the services are; Robert H. Wilson, Robert W. Wilson, Chris Wilson, James LeGrand, Shawn Hayes and Bill Spurgeon.
Music for the services; “Love Me” and “The Dance”.
