James H. Westover

James Westover, age 69, of Skiatook, died at 8:59 a.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his residence in Skiatook.

James was born November 19, 1948 in St. Francois County, Missouri to Charles and Blanche (Counts) Westover. He grew up and received his education in Missouri graduating in 1969. James served in the U.S. Air Force. He went to work for Whirlpool until he retired in 2014. He married Barbara in Arkansas in 2001 and they made their home in Skiatook their whole married life. James liked woodworking, and watching wildlife with Barbara.

James was preceded in death by his father and mother.

James is survived by his wife: Barbara and daughters Rebecca Willis of Tulsa, and Heather Lyon of Collinsville, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

James family has entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
