James Frederic Nelson

James Frederik “Beech” Nelson, age 71, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, May 21, 2021 at his Skiatook residence.

Memorial services for James Frederic “Beech” Nelson will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Taylor officiating.

Beech was born November 24, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arthur William and Eleanor Lindsey (Fulton) Nelson. Beech grew up and received his education in Tulsa where he graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1968. Beech also attended the Apprentice program through the IBEW Local 584 for 4 years. Beech was employed through the IBEW Local 584 from 1970 to 1990 when he retired from being a electrician. Beech enjoyed fishing, junking and garage sales, dogs and bird watching.

Beech was preceded in death by his mother and father and by one brother.

Beech is survived by his daughter; Jennifer Weathers, brother; Bill Raymond Nelson, sister; Beth Howard, two nieces; Sharon Harper and Karon Roberts, nephews Bill King and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cremation and memorial services were entrusted to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
