James C. “Jim” LeGrand Jr.

Funeral services for James C. “Jim” LeGrand Jr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

James C. “Jim” LeGrand Jr., age 62, of Skiatook died at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his Skiatook residence.

Jim was born August 6, 1952 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to James C. LeGrand Jr. and Myrtle Lavonne Tyler. Jim grew up and received his education in Tulsa. Jim married Virginia R. Richards on August 17, 1990 in Skiatook where they have made their home since that time. Jim was a diesel mechanic for Fruhaulf Trailer, Tulsa Auto Spring where he was a mechanic and a furnace operator, OK Tank where he was a mechanic and driver and for JC Truck and tire . Jim liked collecting guns and knives and collecting old movies.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, one brother and by one sister.

Jim is survived by his wife; Virginia of the home, three children; Virginia Ann Clapp, Bonnie Parker and Jason Honeycutt, one brother Bill LeGrand, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Wings On A Dove”, “Wholes In The Floor Of Heaven” and “Thunder Rolls”.

Casket escorts will be; Bill Spurgeon, Jason T. LeGrand Jr., Chris Wilson, James LeGrand, Robert Wilson, Jack Hooker and BJ Wilson.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
