James “Heath” Gaynor
Memorial services for Heath Gaynor will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 10, 2019 at Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Butler officiating.
Heath Gaynor, age 48, of Skiatook, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa.
James “Heath” Gaynor was born May 5, 1971 to Vicky Gaynor
He attended school in Sperry and Owasso, however school wasn’t his favorite thing so he got his GED in 1989 the same year he would have graduated.
He always had an interest in cars, fast cars. He always wanted to take people for a ride. One ride was generally all it took for most to know they didn’t want to get in a car with him again.
He had some nice cars over the years, most never made it a week until they were taken apart.
It didn’t matter if it was a toaster or a car he wanted to know what made it work. So generally they got taken apart and never worked the same if they were put back together.
He loved to go to car shows, hang out with his friends, hunting, fishing, and tattoos. He was a self-taught gun smith and he had a good business started.
He had many lifelong friends. They have described him as someone who always kept them laughing, a good man with a good heart, someone that always had their back, even if that meant finishing the fight you started.
Many have shared how they met Heath, whether it was at school, the Owasso skating rink, or through mutual friends. The best is when one friend said, “I can’t really remember how I met Heath, he just showed up one day and never left.”
Heath made a lasting impression on many. He was loved and will never be forgotten.
Heath was preceded in death by his brother: Daniel Parrish, grandparents: Katie and PJ Gaynor, aunt: Ronda Gaynor, uncle: Gary Gaynor, and step dad: Pat Jolley.
Heath is survived by his mother: Vicky (Gaynor) Jolley of Skiatook, sister: Heather Gaynor of Claremore, children: Tyler Lynch of Broken Arrow, Corey Gaynor of Skiatook, Chelsea Gaynor of Skiatook, and Colton Gaynor of Skiatook, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services will be: “What Goes Up”, and “Lead Me Home”.
The family of Heath Gaynor entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
